Surf Style #1: Santa Cruz

There is a serious fashion dilemma in this city for female fashion lovers. After observing the city’s dress codes I realized that San Francisco is a black hole when it comes to fashion.  I don’t know if it is caused by the lack of models (New York), trophy wives (Moscow) or bloggers (Paris). Or maybe it’s just the simple fact that this city has the most inappropriate setting for extravagant high heels (hills) and sexy light dresses (wind). Or maybe it’s the tech scene. Which is strange, because I see a lot of dapper and handsome male techies in the city in tailored suits and expensive skinny jeans. So I decided to channel my despair and translate it into fashion posts which will be inspired by places of the Bay Area and (South California). Oh I forgot to mention: Since San Francisco is so expensive to live in, I will have to drool over those beautiful creations of Alexander Wang, Givenchy and co.

This time: Santa Cruz – the mecca for surfers, playground for hippies and a town with a slightly criminal past.
